I really enjoy mentoring young people. I use football, personal training and life experiences to help me - help them. I’m a good listener and I like to think I can relate to a lot of what the youth are going through. I want to get the best out of my students by letting them express themselves. Football is my freedom and love. I enjoy both playing and coaching and I’ve represented England u18 boys, played for Nike academy, trialed for my favourite team Manchester United and currently playing semi professional. Gaming has also been a passion from a young age.

My goal is to help young people by giving them a sense of direction in their own lives. Working with Raw Mentoring gives me the chance to support young vulnerable people and give them a positive future.

Shaun

Mentor

Ex pro basketball player with over 20 years in the corporate world who has a passion to give back to the next generation. The experiences I had to go through with one of my own children who has been diagnosed with Autism completely changed the outlook of my way of thinking and understanding of children that need support. This led me to becoming a Pastoral support worker, Mentor and Community Basketball coach. At Raw Mentoring we help and support all children and it’s great to be part of this bespoke team.

Kyra

Mentor

I’m the founder of MATHSZX Tutoring Services, where I focus on helping young people succeed in maths and build confidence in their abilities. I hold a  Mathematics  MSci and have always been driven by a love for maths and a commitment to personal growth.

Raised in a family of seasoned foster carers, I’ve  learned first hand how different experiences shape individual needs. My upbringing has deeply influenced my approach to mentoring, fostering empathy and adaptability.

Outside my work, I’m dedicated to fitness, boxing, and pushing my personal limits, which I believe mirrors the resilience and discipline I strive to instil in the young people I mentor. My aim is to support students academically while also helping them navigate  challenges and opportunities with confidence.
